Perfect! It’s winter, white and wonderful!!! Enjoy the fire and the scenic lake views for a bit, and then go for a stroll in the village. Whether by sun-light or moonlight, you will delight in viewing the snow-covered roofs with ice sickles hanging over the sides of the gorgeous Victorian homes.
How about some cross-country skiing? Bring your skis and enjoy many trails at scenic Bear Swamp State Forest* at the South end of Skaneateles Lake.
Give some thought to donning snowshoes. A few minutes from our B&B, you will find Baltimore Woods**. You can rent snowshoes there, then take a walk through the scenic woods with specially marked trails.
Using a certificate given to you at check in time, you may now go and enjoy a hearty soup supper at Blue Water Grill then bring your weary bodies back to our B&B for a wonderful night’s rest.
